What the download contains

• IPEDS UNITID, institution name, state, control, and 2024 enrollment used for coverage.
• The official institution website and verified tuition or required-fee source URL.
• Source format, capture-readiness class, and source verification time.
• An explicit notice that substantive observations remain pending publication review.

What it does not contain

• No tuition, fee, housing, food, net-price, or cost-of-attendance values.
• No raw page bodies, official ZIP contents, private object keys, secrets, or internal capture payloads.
• No inferred campus relationship, filled gap, forecast, or marketing claim.

Reuse and attribution

The source catalog is free to download and inspect. Underlying institution and NCES materials remain subject to their original terms. Formal reuse and commercial-license terms for the Rate Archive compilation are pending owner approval; until then, cite the official publisher for substantive facts and link to Rate Archive when citing this catalog or methodology.

Planned data products

After the publication gate, the archive can support free historical CSVs, institution and state trend pages, a read-only API, and licensed bulk exports with source receipts. Those products are not available yet, and this page does not promise a release date.
